GTA 6 and Avengers: Doomsday: Every Date, Pre-Order and Ticket Deadline

The two biggest entertainment launches of the year land four weeks apart: Grand Theft Auto VI on 19 November 2026 and Avengers: Doomsday on 18 December 2026. Here is every date that matters for both, from pre-order bonuses to preview showings, in order.

The calendar

• 9 November: last day for Fandango Doomsday ticket purchases to enter the world premiere sweepstakes.
• 12 November: GTA 6 pre-loading opens for digital pre-orders, and boxed copies (a download code, no disc) go on sale.
• 19 November: GTA 6 launches on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album is released the same day.
• Before 20 November: GTA 6 pre-orders and purchases made before this date get the Vintage Vice City Pack.
• 17 December: many cinemas run Doomsday preview showings in the evening.
• 18 December: Avengers: Doomsday opens in cinemas, the same day as Dune: Part Three.

GTA 6: what to sort out before 19 November

• Price: $79.99 Standard, $99.99 Ultimate.
• Bonus: the Vintage Vice City Pack on pre-orders before 20 November, plus a free month of GTA+ on digital pre-orders.
• Pre-load: from 12 November, so clear space on your console first.
• Platforms: PS5 and Xbox Series X|S only. No PC or PS4 version at launch.

Avengers: Doomsday: what to sort out before 18 December

• Tickets: on sale now. Premium screens opened on 20 July, general sale on 14 August.
• Format: no IMAX in the US at launch, because Dune: Part Three has those screens. Look for Infinity Vision or other premium formats.
• Runtime: roughly two and a half hours, by the directors' description.
• Streaming: Disney+ in 2027, no date yet.

The cost of both

GTA 6 is $79.99 or $99.99 up front. A cinema ticket for Doomsday depends on your cinema and format; premium screens cost more than a standard showing. If you are budgeting for both, the game is the fixed number and the cinema trip is the one you can make cheaper by picking a standard screen or an off-peak showing.
