📺 Trailer: Ted Lasso — Season 4 Official Trailer (Trust the Process) | Apple TV · Apple TV on YouTube

When the end credits roll on Ted Lasso Season 4, Episode 9, fans of the Emmy-winning comedy will be anxiously anticipating answers and incredibly curious to see where the show goes next. After the Lady Greyhounds won a crucial match, Keeley (Juno Temple) shared life-changing news with Roy (Brett Goldstein), and Rebecca (Hannah Waddingham) broke some terribly heartbreaking news to Ted (Jason Sudeikis), Ted Lasso has a lot of ground to cover in its next episode. The official synopsis for Ted Lasso Season 4, Episode 10 (curiously titled “The Departing Lass” on the press site and “Being Alive” on Apple TV’s streamer) is simply, “Big changes in bunches.” It’s an incredibly vague description, and a title that fans feel could be referencing the unexpected character death in Episode 409, be foreshadowing Ted stepping down as head coach of AFC Richmond’s women’s team, or both.

Ultimately, we’ll have to wait and see what Ted Lasso has in store. So when is the next new episode of Ted Lasso? How many episodes are in Ted Lasso Season 4? When are Ted Lasso episode release dates? What time does the next episode of Ted Lasso come out on Apple TV? How many seasons of Ted Lasso are there? And will there be a Ted Lasso Season 5? We’ve got answers!

Read on to learn more about the future of Ted Lasso, including Ted Lasso Season 4’s total episode count.

Will There Be a Ted Lasso Season 5?

Ahead of Ted Lasso’s Season 4 finale, Apple TV has yet to officially renew Ted Lasso for a fifth season, but that’s not to say Ted Lasso Season 5 isn’t a possibility. The Emmy-winning series is one of Apple TV’s most popular original shows. Heck, that’s part of the reason why it returned for Season 4! And without spoiling anything, when Decider spoke with stars Abbie Hern and Tanya Reynolds ahead of the finale, they expressed interest in and hopes for Season 5.

Given the success of the series and the large fanbase, we can certainly see Apple greenlighting more seasons of Ted Lasso, especially since there’s more of the Lady Greyhounds’ story to tell, and Sudeikis told The Hollywood Reporter he revived the series with another three-season arc in mind. So stay tuned for more updates!

The Death of Mae Green – Why It Matters

In Ted Lasso Season 4, Episode 9, “Mae Rides the Bus,” Mae (Annette Badland) accompanies the Lady Greyhounds on the road and live out the football dreams she was unable to pursue when she was younger. After delivering one heck of a pregame speech in the locker room, Mae denied Rebecca’s invite to sit in her special section of the stadium, and instead spent the game cheering from the supporters section and getting the good old-fashioned football fan experience.

Throughout the episode, Ted Lasso checked back in with Mae, who was smiling and celebrating the team. But after the Lady Greyhounds won the game and the camera panned to Mae’s seat in the crowd, she was nowhere to be found. Why?
